Aims and Objectives
- To develop sensitivities towards community issues.
- To inculcate values and commitment to society.
- To interact with groups who have an interest in the activities of the institution.
- To sensitize students to the social issues and contexts.
- To emphasize community services.
- To create opportunity to help, service, reflect and learn.
About the Unit :
- Nearly 60 volunteers participated in blood donation camp during the last five years.
- The unit was adjudged the Best NSS Unit by R. T. M. Nagpur, University in 2014-2015.
- Programme Officer of the Unit was awarded Best Programme Officer by the University in 2014-2015.
- Red Ribbon club of the college spreads AIDS awareness.
- The volunteers undertake Congress grass eradication programme, campus cleaning, Tree plantation, helping and guiding rural people in sanitation and health etc.
